Shekinah AG Church, Doha – Qatar

Shekinah AG - Doha is a ministry focused on helping people to know and grow in God. The main ingredient to our strategy is true relationship with God. We work hard to provide environments that help us build a healthy relationship with God and each other as well. You will find that we facilitate sermons, worships, events and programs that are focused on getting believers to know God personally and sustain the salvation until the soon coming of Jesus Christ.

In May 1994, Pr. George Antony came to Doha and joined the local Tamil Church lead by Pastor Appadurai and assisted him in various church activities. On May 02, 1997 a new church was started with 7 prominent members to worship God and he became the pastor for this new church in Doha. After a while, this church was joined with Assembly of God (Southern District of Assembly of God). Now he is a pastor blessed with a family of four children, and a congregation of about 800 members.

In June 2007, Malayalam Fellowship was started to minister to the Malayalam speaking community with the help of Pastor Samkutty and Pastor N. Peter. This fellowship later became Salam Assembly of God church presently lead by Pastor. Vijayan.

In June 2009, Hindi Fellowship was started to minister to the Hindi speaking community with the help of Bro. Ravikumar and Bro. Prakash. Currently it is named as El-Shaddai Assembly of God Church lead by Pastor. Ravikumar. This church constitutes many Hindi speaking members from North Indian and Nepal.

At the year 2012, we have started English worship and later grown to a branch church named El Elyon Assembly of God – English, pastoring by Pr. Michael, which have 100+ believers belongs to many of African Countries.

At the year 2016, we have started a branch church at coastal city Al Khor, named Shekinah AG Al Khor, pastoring by Pr. Arun Prakash, which have 150+ believers.

Our Church organization works and ministers with many spiritually well-equipped fore frontiers (church leaders) under the leadership of Senior Pastor George Antony. They are able to preach and provide pastoral care to the congregation. They are also leaders of different prayer cell groups functioning in various camps under them. With the timely council and moral support extended by our Spiritual Elders the church is able to function smoothly. All the members of the Church are collectively working towards the goal and vision of our church.
